The Worthington Parks and Recreation Department offers a wide variety of free and fee-based
programs along with state of the art facilities. Membership to the Community Center is not
necessary to participate in any of our programs or events.
The lap lanes are available for 55 minutes of water fitness activities
which includes: deep water fitness exercises, water walking,
recreational & competitive strokes. It is strongly encouraged that
the fitness pool lanes are used for deep water exercises along with
competitive strokes.
LEISURE POOL LANES The leisure lanes are available for 55 minutes of water fitness activities
which includes: fitness exercises, water walking, recreational &
competitive strokes. To enter/exit the leisure pool lanes please use
the stairs. Individuals that registered for use of the lazy river may
need to enter the lazy river by the stairs, then along the wall adjacent
to the leisure pool lanes until they get to the entrance of the river. It
is strongly encouraged that the leisure pool lanes are used for water
fitness activities that do not need deeper water or to be utilized for
recreational strokes.

Do you love cookies, how about muffins? Your help is
needed to stir, bake and taste-test our yummy creations.
Some of our creations will include apples, pumpkin and
chocolate. We will read stories, play games and clean up
the bakery while our creations are baking and cooling.
Your little one needs to get out moving and you need a
program just right for their size. Search no more! Weekly
JumpBunch classes begin with kid-friendly warmups and
exercises. The class “Coach” will then introduce participants
to individual skills, equipment, and simple rules of a
different sports/fitness activity each week. Coaches praise
and encourage children while helping them develop
coordination, teamwork, and confidence. Each session
concludes with games, obstacle courses and cool downs
to keep kids engaged and moving throughout the session.
Participants should dress to be very active. Adult/parent
participation is required for all children under 3
Young athletes will have a ball at the Worthington Have a
Ball! - Multi-Sports Class! Each class will focus on a different
sport including soccer, basketball, baseball, hockey, track and
field, and more! Participants will engage in age appropriate
activities each day that will help them learn the fundamentals
and rules of each specific sport. Staff will ensure kids are
participating in a well-supervised environment that creates
positive, social interactions and emphasizes the importance
of sportsmanship. Participants will also play exciting camp
games throughout the session. Our participants will leave
